Xodus Travel (PTY) LTD was founded by Ingrid Monakgomo Sebaka in 2017 after being in the travel and tourism industry for 20 years with international experience in sports travel, hospitality, group tourist facilitation, and conferencing and travel trade. She has held a number of positions in the tourism industry with a lot of exposure in travel and sport with travel companies such as Indo Jet Travel, Seekers Travel World and the hospitality group Three Cities Hotel group.

Ingrid Monakgomo Sebaka has traveled all over the world to countries like Mauritius, South America, China, UK, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso and Equatorial Guinea to name a few. She has also travelled in her own backyard of South Africa as they saying goes that you can't sell something you don't know. As the sole founder of Xodus Travel (PTY) LTD, she is hands-on in the business ensuring that the delivery of the service is of the highest standards.

We pride ourselves in providing a seamless travel experience hence our tagline "Your journey starts here!" Xodus Travel (PTY) LTD is a 100% black female-owned travel company that focuses on business and leisure travel for groups and individuals both locally and internationally. I am an astute Travel Manager possessing 26 years’ experience providing bespoke travel solutions to reputable companies in the television broadcasting, hotel, and travel agency sectors.

I started out as an Accounts Clerk/Travel Consultant at Indo Jet Travel in 1997. I excelled in the role and grew along industry ranks becoming a Senior Travel Consultant at Seekers Travel World (PSL) and Sales Executive at Three Cities Hotel Group. I joined SABC (Airwave Travel)
as a Senior Travel Consultant in 2005. I further grew along the company ranks being promoted to Production Coordinator (SABC Sport) and Travel Logistics Manager (SABC Sport) until 31 March 2021.

Currently, I am the founder and owner of Xodus Travel (Pty) Ltd. This career progression based on merit is illustrative of my continuous improvement philosophy. I possess a BCom Tourism Management Degree and various industry related Certificates and Diploma.

I possess all round industry skills covering the technical and business side of tourism and travel management. I offer solid competencies covering travel agency operations (domestic, regional, and international reservations for flights, accommodation, and transport hires.
Skills extend to business administration and management, budgeting, training, human resources, sales and marketing, key account, and relationship management.

Excellent leadership and business development skills characterised by the establishment of long-term relationships, comprehensive product knowledge, superior client services and stakeholder management skills.
